Unemployment is based on a rotating base year. The base year is the 4qrters prior to the current and most recent completed quarters. This would be July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009.


You do not have to have worked the entire time but you had to work during that period and you had to earn a minimum amount of money.How long do you have to work to apply for unemployment?
at least 4-5 full calendar quarters to get the maximum benefit for your earnings level
