What is a Section 8 Voucher and how to apply for it ?

I wanted to know exactly how you apply for it and what are the


requirements.





I seen the website and is a little complicated so a quick description would be helpful.





Mostly just wanted to know would it work for a bud of mine and myself trying to move into a 1 - 2 bedroom house.





He has a job and I don't at the moment but am close to getting one.

I doubt you would get assistance. Not to sound harsh but your *bud* and you want to use section 8? Section 8 is for low income families or women with dependent children, not for 2 able bodied guys who can work.





Don't look for an easy way to pay your rent or a handout, just get a job any job and work and live in a place you both can afford.





You wouldn't qualify also because it is not meant for *buddies* who just need assistance.
It is for anyone who is consider to be below the poverty line. People who are disabled and people with small kids get bumped to the front of the list which can be years long. call your country welfare office and ask for an application
