I'm not certain if you can check immigration applications online in the UK.I know that the US,Canada %26amp; Australia does but kinda bizarre if the UK didn't.You should contact the Home office directly to make an Inquiry.It's the only way to know for sure.

No,there is no UK online progress facility available


(quite possibly because of EU data protection issues, and the costs to manage the access security to keep it private)





and you have to wait for 14 weeks before you can ring up and ask the progress.


(see notes on the application form that you filled in)





But in reality, it does not matter...


as knowing the progress changes nothing about your status in the UK or the speed of application.


- your current status is automatically extended while being processed


- if they need further information, they will write to you (you get a reasonable/2-4 wks reply time)


- when it is successful, you will recieve the passport/visa in the post


- if it is a spouse ILR, your partner can ask for their passport back at any time (it only has to be checked once)





You have to assume that if you have done everything correctly, that the ILR will be issued.
